Hi Everyone!
I hope you enjoyed the title of this post ;-) I was getting a little fed-up of saying Mini Haul when I am only hauling one or two pairs (which is definitely making me want to go out on an earrings themed spending spree)!
So this is a quick post with one new pair:

These are gorgeous little studs that have a peach coloured gem at the top (at the stud part) and then a lilac coloured ring of diamonds underneath (there is an overall gold tone to the earrings though and this comes from the gold back)! I really like the colour of these earrings - I don't have a pair like this in my collection and especially not a peach and lilac coloured pair! For some reason these colours just remind me of spring and summer and I think that they're just really cute and fun (I've also been on a peach/coral craze at the minute so I'm definitely loving getting a little peaxh-fix from them :-) a little earring fix is never a bad thing)!
Thanks for stopping by! :-)
EOTD 24
Hi Everyone!
The earrings that I wore today have got to be one of my favourite pairs - I love the colour (so, so much), the style, everything about them:

I love, love, love the colour of these earrings! Blue is my favourite colour and this shade odd blue really sums it up! I think that these earrings have a really nice feel to them, they remind me of an aztec style (especially with the gold detailing) and I think that they are just a really nice looking pair of earrings!
These earrings are studs and are fairly heavy - they're not "lobe-pullers" by any means, but after wearing them all day you can definite start to feel their weight by the afternoon and evenings! In my opinion though, the earrings as a whole completely outweigh how heavy they are!
Thanks for stopping by! :-)

EOTD 23
Hi Everyone!
This is just a quick post about my most recent EOTD:

So I hauled these earrings a couple of weeks ago and I am really impressed with them!
The reason why this post is so short is because its a "tester" post for a new blogger app that I'm using - so hopefully it isn't too terrible on your end - I'm still getting to grips with it!
Thanks for stopping by! :-)

Evening Earrings For A Wedding Reception!
Hi Everyone!
Last Friday night I went to a wedding reception and I thought that I'd show you the earrings that I wore - I'm not classing these as an EOTD as I only wore them for a few hours and it was for a special occasion (you can see the EOTD from last Friday in the post here)!
I decided to wear a pair of earrings that I hauled a couple of weeks ago now (you can see the post here) and I thought that they would go with my dress perfectly (I'll add a photo of my whole outfit at the end of this post)! So here are the earrings I decided on:
I love these earrings because depending on what light you are looking at them in, they look different colours - they tend to differ between a classic clear diamond colour and a yellow/orange/peachy colour and I just love them! They are a nice length and are of an average weight! I really can't say enough about these earrings - they are just so pretty and sparkly!
Here's a photo of my overall outfit:
I'm sorry about the "squashed" look of the photo - blogger doesn't like the photos I take on my camera if they're portrait shaped!
So as a whole I think the differing colours of the earrings and their overall style really accentuated my overall outfit!
Thanks for stopping by! :)
EOTD 21 and 22 - 30th and 31st May!
Hi Everyone!
I am doing another "Double EOTD" post today so that I can catch-up with the posts that I've missed! Just like my last EOTD post, I don't have lots of detailed photos of the earrings that I'm wearing - so I'd like to apologise for that!
Here are the earrings that I wore while I was travelling up North:
I love these little tiered gold earrings - they are so cute, the pink is so bright and I think they have a classic style about them! They are an average size and weight and are super easy-going - they are the kind of earrings that are effortless, but look like you've put so much effort into them! They also look really nice with lots of different hairstyles, which is always an important factor to consider when choosing and wearing a pair of earrings!
The next EOTD look like this:
These are another pair of earrings that I would class as "go-to" pairs - they are simple and can be worn with so many different outfits! They are little silver earrings that have a "ringed" top that then ends in a black-silver coloured bead - I love the top section of these earrings as they always remind me of the stacked ringed necklaces that people wear! They are super lightweight and are a "thoughtless" pair of earrings in the sense that you don't have to put any thought into wearing them - they're that easy-going!
Thanks for stopping by! :)
EOTD 19 and 20 - 28th and 29th May!
Hi Everyone!
This EOTD post goes all the way back to the last week of May (and we're now in the first week of June - so I guess "all the way back" is maybe somewhat dramatic)!
Anyhoo, this is going to be a quick EOTD post and then I am going to post another double EOTD post in order to catch-up on everything that I've missed!
Here are the 19th pair of earrings to show:
I'm sorry for not having a lot of photos/detailed photos of these two pairs of earrings - I only took these ones and didn't realise until I started typing this post!
These are very simple little, lightweight earrings that I are to pair with pretty much any outfit! They are gold with a diagonal line going across them and then the bottom half is a patterned black colour (I don't know if you can see the pattern in this photo, but it's essentially a check pattern)! There really isn't much more to say about these earrings - they are what they are, which is essentially what they look like!
The next EOTD look like this:
For a while these earrings were my go-to, absolute favourite earrings - I would wear them everyday and I just loved them! I still like them and enjoy wearing them, but they have definitely taken a back-seat now! They were particularly hard to photograph as each little "scale" moves individually - I called them "scales" because they always remind me of a fishes' tail or the scales on a fishes body! They are very lightweight and are just simple and classic - they can and are fun to wear, but I think because of the frequency in which I used to wear them I have become somewhat tired with them now and find them a little harder to wear!
I hope you are all having a wonderful week!
Thanks for stopping by! :)
Mini Haul!
Hiya Everyone!
This is a little mini-haul (as I only bought 2 new pairs - I think that's progress of some sort) and both pairs came from a Next outlet store, which I visited while being away last week!
This first pair are a lovely bright orange/coral colour (they are a much brighter colour in person than the photo is showing) and they have a row of diamonds as well:
I fell in love with these earrings because of the colour - I don't have any pairs in my collection that are similar to these earrings and I especially don't have any that match this colour! It is just such a fun, summer colour and it really excites me to wear these!
The second pair that I bought just scare me - I always feel like a bit of a Magpie when it comes to diamond or sparkly earrings, I just can't resist them! And these earrings have nothing but sparkle:
They are super cute and definitely have an element of being "show-stopper" earrings! They consist of three gems, two being diamonds and the bottom gem looking like an opal almost (but definitely what I would class as a "cloudy diamond")! I just like the simplicity and classic nature of these earrings, but at the same time I just think they are so sparkly and fun and I feel like they definitely have a modern feeling to them!
Thanks for stopping by! :)
Apologies!
Hi Everyone!
It's little ol' me - if you can remember who I am that is?!
I am so sorry for my lack of posting this past week - I went away for a few days at the end of last week and everything just got very hectic and chaotic and this blog kind of fell under the carpet ... until now that is!
So today you should prepare yourself for a mini-haul and a couple of EOTD posts and I will try my hardest to keep this blog as updated and current as I can!
I think that a part of my problem is that I have an aversion to turning my laptop on (for some unknown reason) which means if I am at home, say watching TV, for some strange reason I really don't like or want to turn my laptop on! So, does anyone know of a good Android App for Blogger or for publishing posts? I have the official Blogger app, but I don't really like it - so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
So, I hope that you accept my apologies and I will try my hardest to keep up the posts on this blog!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for hanging in there with me! :)

EOTD 18 - 27th May 2013.
Hi Everyone!
I've decided to rename my posts "EOTD" which stands for Earrings of the Day and I just thought that this sounded better than "Earrings No. ..." (which if I'm being honest had been bugging me since I first started using it) so I just thought I'd update you on the new name in case there was any confusion! And of course I want to keep you updated on everything anyway!
So here are today's EOTD:
They are the thicker pair of gold hoops that I have just hauled that I got at the weekend! I won't go in to too much detail about them because I have just hauled them (you can see the haul post here) and as I put in that post, they are pretty self-explanatory!
I just had to throw in the "pose" photo that I took - I even made it my new IG profile picture!
So as a whole, I really like the way these earrings look and I loved them with the outfit that I wore today (jeans, black owl t-shirt and black flats ... oh and the diamonte sunglasses of course)! I just think they are such a classic style that they can really be worn with anything, but the thickness of the earrings gives them a new twist!
Thanks for stopping by! :)
Mini Earrings Haul!
Hiya Everyone!
I mentioned in my last post that on Saturday my Nan bought me a set of new gold hoops - so I thought that I'd do a mini haul of them so that you can see the new pairs!
The set consists of 3 pairs of gold hoops in varying sizes and designs - here is the first:
This pair of gold hoops are the littlest and the simplest - they have what I'd class as a "proper" clasp (as in they're not studs) and all of the earrings in this set have the same clasp! There really isn't a lot to say about this hoops: they are simple, reasonably lightweight and your "classic" gold hoop!
Here the second pair in the set:
As you can see, this pair in design is identical to the first hoops but the difference is the thickness (the actual hoop size is exactly the same)! This pair isn't overly or extremely large, they are still very wearable, but they are obviously thicker than the first pair and (as perhaps expected) this pair is slightly heavier due to their thickness!
The last pair look like this:
This pair is the same thickness as the first, but the design on these are different - instead of being smooth these have a twisted, rope-style pattern to them (which I think makes them look even more classic and lovely)! This pair is super lightweight and just really effortlessly classic - a combination which is always great to find in a pair of earrings!
So, overall I am very happy to add these earrings to my collection and I am super excited to actually wear them! So "thank you Nan" for enabling my obsession ;)
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Earrings No. 16 and No. 17 - 24/25.05.13.
Hi Everyone!
I'm sorry for not posting an "Earrings of the Day" yesterday - I got a bit waylaid! But I have yesterday's pair and today's pair for you now!
So starting off with the pair that I wore yesterday:
These are little silver and black earrings that have 3 little black gems at the top, a silver bead halfway down the rod and then a big black gem at the bottom. I wore these as they are super easy and lightweight, although I must admit that they aren't my favourite pair of earrings and I don't wear them a lot! I can't put my finger on what it is about these earrings that make me not so sure about them, but there is definitely something!
I mean, I think they look absolutely fine when actually being worn - there is just something about them that makes me not want to wear them!
The pair I wore today however, I really enjoy:
These earrings came as a part of a set (with a necklace, which you'll see in a photo below) and they are just really simple gold earrings shaped almost like the "infinity" symbol! They are super lightweight, super easy-going and just a nice, classic pair of gold earrings that can really be worn with any outfit, for any occasion - which makes me like them all the more!
I really, really like these earrings and think that they really are effortless and easy to wear!
I don't normally wear sets together (at the same time) as I'm always a bit uncertain as to whether or not the outfit will look too odd or too put-together, but today I though "why not?" so I did! And I actually really enjoyed wearing the necklace and the matching earrings - I think it really tied my outfit all together and I loved the look of them together!
My Nan bought me a few new gold hoops today, so I'll try and post a haul of the hoops asap for you to see!
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Earrings No.15 - 23rd May 2013.
Hi Everyone!
Today's post is going to be super quick as I only wore earrings for a short part of the day and they are a really simple pair that look like this:
These earrings are little pearl studs and that really is everything there is to say about them - they are super lightweight, super easy-going and very simple, but with a certain classic elegance about them!
I'm sorry about the length of this post, but this particular pair of earrings are pretty self-explanatory!
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Earrings No. 14 - 22nd May 2013.
Hi Everyone!
Today has been the weirdest day weather wise - it's been really muggy and cloudy (dark and grey) all day and then this afternoon at around 4pm, the sun came out and it got crazy-warm! But it is only typical English weather I guess.
Today's earrings are much more fun and brighter than the weather has been and I think they add a lovely little pop of colour to any outfit!
I apologise for the dark photo - I had hoped it would "brighten" on the computer screen!
These earrings are very bright and just remind me of summer and fun and everything that accompanies summer and fun! They are a gold circle adorned with a purple outer ring and a blue gem middle ring all surrounding a pinky-purple gem. Considering how small they are (and they are very small and lightweight) they pack a shockingly-good amount of colour and are almost a show-stopper pair of earrings.
In this brighter photo you can really see the colours for what they are - amazing! Sometimes I think it's better to wear your hair up (or to the side) when wearing little earrings like these, as if you have long or think hair they can get a little lost - and when they look as good as this pair do, you definitely don't want them to get lost in a sea of hair! (That being said, I would also totally wear them with my hair down ;) lol - there's never a bad time to wear these earrings).
I really enjoy the style and the impact of these earrings - I just think they're really interesting and unique, without having to put a lot of effort in! So I must say that it really is all thumbs-up with these earrings!
Thanks for stopping by! :)
Earrings No. 13 - 21st May 2013.
Hi Everyone!
Firstly, let me apologise for not posting yesterday - it was just one of those long, hectic days and I didn't get a spare 5 minutes to myself to do anything! So I'm sorry.
Right, on to the earrings!
These earrings tend to be a quick "go-to" pair for me (especially when I'm in a rush) and it's going to be hard not "quickly going-to" them now that I'm doing this challenge! They are a dark silver in colour and in terms of design, they always remind me of an acorn leaf! I find them easy because they are simple, somewhat classic and just go with everything.
Originally, these earrings had another few "rows" of leaves attached (they were very long and rested on my shoulder) but I decided one day - as you do - that they would look a lot better with one leaf and I took them apart! I think that's one of the things that I love about earrings, they are adjustable to your own individual test - not keen on feathers: take them off, too long: take a row out, too many beads on a hoop: take some off - it's all give and take for what suits you best; and this pair is a classic example of this (I only wish I had a "before" picture to show you all, but unfortunately I dismembered them years ago)!
These earrings are super simple, lightweight and easy-going - I really enjoy their simplicity and find that they are the perfect pair for if you are in a rush. I also really enjoy the acorn leaf design :) I think it's something unique and interesting!
Thanks for stopping by! :)

New Look Earrings Haul!
Hi Everyone!
Since starting this blog I've had such an urge to buy new earrings (and do a haul) and today was my first real opportunity to do so. I was shopping in town and popped into New Look to have a look at their sale, but of course I couldn't resist checking out the jewellery sale too! So I picked up 4 new pairs of earrings to add to the collection :) This is just a brief overview of each pair, along with some photos, as they'll be appearing in their own blog-posts at some point when I wear them. (I'll just mention quickly that all of the pairs were either £2 or £2.50 in price - so quick affordable).
So, I'll start off with these gorgeous gold and pearl design stud earrings:
These earrings are gorgeous and the gold detailing is so intricate that it is stunning. They are rather large and felt quite heavy - so I'll have to consider that when it comes time to actually wear them, but just in terms of their appearance I love them already!
The next pair that I picked up were these were these little gold and diamond studs:
Again, the detail on these is gorgeous - they have a plain gold bottom section and then a patterned gold top section, separated by a row of gems.
The next pair that I picked up were these chandelier-style gold and yellow toned diamond earrings:
I find these earrings really interesting and unusual because the diamonds themselves have this kind of yellow or gold-tone to them and it's not necessarily expected (you'd perhaps think it was a gold back showing through and tinting them that way), but at the same time in certain lights the diamonds can also appear pink in tone. These earrings are me all-over, so I am super excited about wearing these!
This next pair just did not want to photograph for anything - seriously, I must have taken about 10 photos and only 1 looked good! That being said, they are stunning in person - they are so sparkly and just generally shiny that they immediately catch your eye, even though they're only little in size (which is a major plus if you ask me)! These earrings are silver and they have a row of diamond-gems running through the middle of a silver spiral:
(I know they're not earrings, but I also picked up this gorgeous handchain that I thought I'd show you quickly:
How pretty is that!).
So overall I am super excited about all the new earrings I bought - I think they'll look stunning for spring and summer and I can't wait to wear them this year! So look out for them in future posts where you'll get more information and more detailed pictures about them!
Thanks for stopping by! :)
Earrings No. 12 - 18th May 2013.
Hi Everyone!
Happy Saturday :)
The earrings that I wore today consisted of a gold "hoop" (the hoop that isn't a hoop) and on the hoop section are 4 sets of different beads - mostly in shades of purple. They are actually larger and heavier than the photo makes them appear though:

The little beads and gems are all different sizes, shapes and slightly different shades of the same colour (purple). When wearing the earrings (as you'll see in the photo below) all of the beads hang together at the bottom of the hoop and make it look like their is actually only one big bead attached to the hoop - which I'm not the greatest fan of in all honesty.
The individual beads on the earrings:
The earrings being worn:
I have to be honest and state that these earrings are definitely not one of my favourite pairs - I like the idea of them, but in terms of practicality, they are heavy and don't look as good on as they do when you're just looking at them. I don't hate these earrings as a whole and I do think that with the right outfit and for the right situation or occasion they can look very nice - I just also know that I have pairs that I prefer in my collection.

Earrings No. 11 - 16th May 2013.
Hi Everyone!
Today has been a lovely sunny day and the sun is definitely most welcome - it feels like we've had nothing but rain for months and months. But anyway, today's earrings where these cute little black pair:
These earrings are very simple and cute - they consist of two short rods (of different lengths, but "short" in length overall) and have a black bead at the bottom of each rod. The rods are black in colour and have a silver top.
They are of a medium length and are very lightweight - they are another pair where you can forget that you are wearing them! There really isn't much that can be said about these earrings, they are simple, cute, easy-going and just overall a nice pair of earrings!
Thanks for stopping by! :)

Earrings No. 10 - 15th May 2013.
Hi Everyone!
Today I went to see "Star Trek (2) Into Darkness" at the cinema and I cannot tell you how much I loved it - it was amazing and it has left me wanting a third film so desperately! Even if you're not a trekkie I think it's a film that everyone can love.
I also can't believe that I'm already at my "tenth pair" mark - when I think about the 10 earrings I've worn and then my collection as a whole, it does put the size of my collection into perspective! ;)
I also can't believe that I'm already at my "tenth pair" mark - when I think about the 10 earrings I've worn and then my collection as a whole, it does put the size of my collection into perspective! ;)
Because I went to the cinema and met with a friend I decided to wear a pair of Russian Doll earrings (because of course that makes total sense - see friends = wear Russian Doll earrings):
They are (predominantly) a beautiful shade of red and are adorned with roses on the "dress" section of the doll - there is so much intricate detail on the face and body sections that they are really stunning to look at. In design, the earrings are segmented into four pieces and have little gaps in between each segment. The exterior detail is gold and the links in between each section are gold as well.
When wearing them, the earrings hang really nicely and are of medium size and weight - because they are segmented, you can almost feel each piece moving separately from the others and they have a definite "swing" to them (which I love)!
They definitely add a little something extra to an outfit and from my experience they can be very eye-catching - I think the design is something that is a little unexpected in a pair of earrings! I really wish that I had these earrings in different colours (for instance a blue doll instead of red) as I think they are very versatile, they can be worn with a simple outfit to dress the look up or they can be worn with an already dressed-up outfit.
As a whole, the colour and overall look of these earrings is definitely unusual and to me, very appealing - after all, Russian Doll earrings aren't something that you tend to see on a day-to-day basis!
Thanks for stopping by! :)
