About Me!

Earrings have always been a very important part of my life - I guess you could argue that they have become an obsession, a love and even a crutch that I rely on. To me, no matter what outfit you have on earrings can always be used as a tool to dress an outfit up, dress it down or dress it in whatever way you want to! 

I am unable to tell you when my love affair with earrings began (I like to think that it's always been present) and I am afraid to count how many pairs I actually own - my mum would tell you it's over 400, but I think she's being a little generous with that figure. I have always viewed earrings as high-heels for the ears (especially for girls, like me, who like wearing flat shoes) and I think that is where my love for earrings began - I loved being able to accessorize and add my own personality to an outfit simply by adding a pair of earrings, even if I chose to go barefoot (not that I go barefoot very often)! I wouldn't say I have a particular style when it comes to earrings that appeal to me, in my collection I have everything from studs to hoops to the longest "dangly" earrings that are adorned with feathers, sparkle and diamonds in a wide variety of different colours (and I am constantly adding more and more to my collection)!

I take earrings very seriously, there are a lot of factors that have to be taken into account when considering what earrings to wear and whether or not to buy a new pair and I like to think of it almost like an art form where you have to know your subject in order to apply it - instead of picking an outfit and having four or five different shoe options, I'll have four or five different earring options. I do enjoy accessorizing with other items - like bracelets, rings, scarves and necklaces - but it really is earrings that I like to use to make the most out of an outfit! 

Aside from earrings, I would say that I have two main loves in my life - my family and Max!

My gorgeous baby boy - Max (or Maxwell, Maxie-Bear, I tend to create variations of his name on a regular basis)!

So whether or not you are someone who enjoys the "art of earrings" or would rather accessorize with different items of jewellery, I am someone who definitely has More Earrings Than Sense!
